Vintage fruit jars are great collectibles. We love thee history they carry as well as the charm and character. Included are 8 jars with different shapes and stories to tell. There are 2 clear 2-quart jars with lids-one a Kerr and one a Ball "Perfect Mason" and the other a Kerr "Self Sealing" wide mouth mason. One quart sized blue ball jar with threads at the top. This jar has a flea bite at the rim that we can not see, but feel and may actually be in the mold. Two blue Ball jars with glass tops and wire fitting (one missing the wire). These are approximately 7.5" tall with lids (Pint?). One of these does not have the underscore, and the other is a 1976 commemorative jar. A clear Ball Elipse Wide Mouth Wire Bail closure jar with no lid measuring approx 8.5" x 3.5". last two clear jars have glass lids and wire bail closures- one is a sweet 3.5" x 5" tall. The other is a Crownford made in Italy Octagonally shaped jar with the imprint Salted Peanuts 5 cents.
